Revive on birdsnest?

I dipped my new pink birdnest coral in revive mixed as directed on the bottle for a total of 5 min and know the coral looks really white. Looks like all the flesh is gone.

Did the revive kill my coral?

i dont think so . i used to do around 10-20 minute on all my new coral. but keep in mind after you dip it make sure keep your coral in low light and low blow.
good luck

Shaded area done and their isn't a low flow area in my tank. I guess it's in a lower flow area though.

Wondering the same thing.

If so that would leave me to belive that the revive removes pest from the coral but also leaves it a weekend state.

But only a 5 min dip ***. I've dipped other corals with great results. Heck I even dipped some zoes once with out noticing it. Once I did I removed them and rinsed them. Would say the was in the dip for atleast 2 -3 min. They actuly turned out looking great. 100 times better then before the dip.

I couldn't see a birds nest being more sensitive to revive then a Zoe.

I'm not sure if 5 minutes is long enough?
