I purchased a rock with rhodactis mushrooms on it, the next day I noticed white stringy things coming out of the mushroom mouth and sides, they do not appear to be harming the mushrooms but I am concern because I have a lot of corals, clams, feather dusters...etc

I am including few pics so please help, I ahve circled the culprit:

Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Its difficult to really see what is going on. Sometimes when a mushroom is acclimating, or being irritated by something, it can expose mesenterial filaments- looks like a tangle of very fine white worms. They usually come out of the mouth, but if there is damage (or Severe irritation) they can come through other places on the polyp. Just make sure there are no other corals stinging them, and that your water quality is in good shape.
If thats not whats going on, then... I dunno...
