Rhomboid Wrasse Hiding

Is it normal for the golden wrasse to hide for a few days before swimming in the open? Before I place it in the tank, it was quarantine about 12 hours in a seperate tank sharing the same water as the main tank. It seems to be healthy eating and swmming freely before I release it into the main tank.

normal........deep water species.....shy at first.....will adjust and see him quite often.

and, by the way, if it shares water it is not in quarantine.

I meant to say acclimate without stress from other fish in the tank.

mine went hiding for about a month then appeared an inch bigger and has disappeared hopefully alive again. Here's some before and after shots. Regards, Tim
