Ricordea question

I bought 4 Ric frags off a local reefer. 3 were small (about the size of a dime/nickel) and one larger one (about the size of a twoonie). I put them in the tank about 3 weeks ago and they were looking healthy but they have been slowly disappearing and now I only have the large one left. It's on a plug with a stem and I found it at the bottom of the tank tonight. My rock is fairly porous so it was stable where I placed it.

Do they have any natural predators? I think it would either be one of my emeralds or a hermit that would be assainating my corals. Everything else in the tank is where it should be.

I have read that they will detach themselves to find a better spot in the tank but I cannot the missing 3 anywhere but with the porous rock it could be lodged.

Just curious as to whether or not I have something in my tank that should be moved to the sump before other corals start to disappear

they will detach from a rock, I had one that did when I first put it in the tank. I just drifted around the tank, it was fairly large. Did you check in your sump? How much flow do you have? Something in your tank could be eating them, but I don't know what may snack on mushrooms.

Are your water stats alright? Sometimes there are just some coral that don't do well in your specific system. For the longest time I couldn't keep zoathids while I was able to keep much harder coral such as a Micromussa or Dendrophyllia. I would try a coral even simpler, yellow polyps were my very first coral, they have good color and and hard to screw up.
