Ricordea sp. vs Actinodiscus sp.

Hello all,

I have some prime real estate with some actinodiscus all over it and I am wondering if I throw some Ricordea over them if it who will win the battle? I don't want to hurt the ricordea whatsoever, but i am not too worried about the actinodiscus.

Anyone?

Thank you!

rics are slower growers, so they may not really "gain" any ground on actinodiscus (fast growers). I don't know who would win a stinging or chemical battle (do mushrooms have those?? I don't know) but I wouldn't risk it with a nice ric

They both use mesenterial filaments as means of harming other corals, but IMO it is a little bit hard to tell who would win...I'd imagine it varies from each coral specimen to the next.
Try fragging the mushrooms off first.
