Ricordea

Reasonably priced ricordea? I think $20-$30 per polyp is the reasonable price for the bright ones everybody wants
I know the club did a group buy a couple months ago and they were really small. I have bought a few small colonies but always paid $20 or more per polyp.
You get what you pay for with these things.
Heres a pic of my oranges just to get you excited :)

20ish is fine, it's just most I've seen have been $50+ which is more than I wanted to spend on one.

I keep hearing of all these deal where people are getting rocks with 3 or 4 or even more on them for $30-40 bucks, so I was holding out trying to find one of those...

Yeah that would be a good deal. I think the rocks with a few on them are cheaper per polyp than individuals usually. You end up with babies on there that they don't usually charge for.

I need some new colors. I have the suporplain brown ones, and the pink ones with a blue boarder. So I want liek the blues and greens, and umm yellow? I have not seen yellow now that I think about it. I got the Pink one from Blanes, and it has gone from 1 to about 15. But I need more of these.

Hmm, I may need to try to get some off that rock, but that will be a problem. Guess I will see what I can do.

I have noticed they do multiply in my tank but its slow. Has anyone ever scraped on off the rock and re-attached it to another? My method has been to let it grow onto nearby rocks but its a slow process.

Christo, I just fragged a blue one off of the rock in my 125 and put it in my Pico. I set another rock on the edge of it and since it's in a lower flow area, seems to have attached. You can always use bridal veil
