Ricordia Florida placement?

Hi, I bought one nice rock with 8 blueberry ricordia floridas.
I was planning to place it in the very bottom to substitute another rock that is sort of a base pillar.

And I am thinking the ricordias might slowly grow and take over another bald rock that is on top.

However I don't know if ricordia floridas will grow upwards and take over the rock on top?

rics like low light,if you have metal halide place them lower. They also like low flow.

they can multiply decently, but nothing that you can't control. if theres a lot of light towards the top, the prob wont go in that direction............more likely to grow outwards, not upwards
