Is there an easy way to move ricordia? They are on a piece of rock some neon green hairy mushrooms are trying to grow on and I dont want them to be pushed out, so to speak.

Hmmmm, I have ricordea and I don't move them. I work around them. It may be easier to move the hairy mushrooms? I was told not to remove them from a rock once the base is attached. You could try to point your powerheads in their direction to see if they detach but in my opinion, there is no easy way to move them.

when the rock .was given to me it had both the mushrooms and ricordia on it. you can see where someone tried to get rid of them, but did not get all of them offf of the rock and now they're trying to.grow back.

The hairy shroom will outgrow the ric. They won't dying each other so it's kind of whoever wants the spot will stay. No harm to each other. One will move, one won't haha.

The rics are in the middle of the rock, and the "leftover" mushrooms that are attempting to grown are to the left and right of the rics. I guess I will have to see if I can break it in thirds..just worried about hurting the rics.

Brake it! Worst that'll happen is you get some extra corals from ripping em if it happens

take a screwdriver and try to just pop the small peice of rock off that the ric is attached too. just scoop under it kinda. Then glue that small little peice of rock somewhere else with the ric still attached.

I don't want the two competing or any any issues between the two. I'm going to try and pop the rock when I get home. Hopefully I can get them moved without too much of an issue.
