they are not squishing each other and it is a desired look for FL rics IMHO. You probably don't have a whole lot of rock on that frag to break up, but if you want them to spread place a small piece of rock under one of the larger polyps.
I find that they produce more offspring when crowded and competing for space. The larger ones will move to they next rock and leave little ones behind, or take a float trip. If that happens, catch it, then sit in a glass/crate filled with substrate-wait a week or so for them to attach and glue them to another rock. Good luck!
