thanks for the help, i thought it was one.

Will it die? i mean the tank has been set up for 2 days and alot of die off and stuff is taking place, high ammonia. Skimmer is working overtime. It was on my LR i am not stocking my tank for at least a month, will they make it?

They might not make it, yumas are very finicky and high ammonia will most likely do them in.....

they wont make it thru the cycle as you have explained it, maybe get someone to babysit them for you or sell them to another aquarist. RTAW has a classifieds section. if you are in perth i can babysit them for you/buy them maybe. i would start changing water to stop even more dieoff on your rock.

its looking heaps better, i did a water change, ammonia is still high but its alright.

Spanishmack! good to see someone else from perth, if you want a frag, i can give you one, i have 8 of them.

thats good that its looking better. thanks for the offer on the ric, i may just take you up on the offer, i'll have a ric to trade for it i'm sure. if it starts to go pear shaped with the cycle give me a yell and i can babysit them for you if you like.

i spend a bit of time on RTAW forums, do you?

sorry dont know what that forum is :S

Yea that would be awsome, none of my mates have fish tanks.
I got the rics from veba's, on one of the LR pieces! lol and if you know that shop, they are so stupid, they dont even know what a ric is!

RTAW, reefing the australian way

this corallimorph forum is the best for ric advice, but for general stuff rtaw is a very good reference and most of the people are helpful and friendly

i live north of the river so don't get to vebas at all, but yeh i have heard of the rics they get, they are misnamed by the collector and they do the same thing.
