Ricrodea and Blue Mushroom.

I have a blue mushroom that for whatever reason, wants to sit in the middle of about 8 ricrodea's that I really like.

Will the mushroom hurt the ricordeas?

Mushrooms will sting other corals
Best to remove it
Ricordea will also sting...so they are probably "fighting"

If you can carefully scrape the mushroom off you can move it to another location. I've moved lots of mushrooms

I agree, use a razor blade to slice the mushroom where it is attatched to the rock, put it in a cup in your tank with tiny rocks in the bottom of the cup and it will attatch itself back, then you can move it to another location. Good Luck...

I have have blues and orange ricordeas that have been touching of a long time . I have never moved them apart and have seen no bad reaction. If they show signs of problems move them if not leave them and they will be fine. I like the color of my orange and blues mixed. Good luck.
