holy freaken crap! these tanks are amazing! ive been on the elos website and always figured there tanks were for the super wealthy (or obsessed :) ) is anyone willing to spill the beans and say how much they payed for their tanks? just tanks though i can imagine how much the rest of the equipment runs. Nuuze what are the boxes to the right of your tank with the blinky lights? they look fancy!

Thanks all!

reiko1078, the boxes are the Sfiligoi ACLS computers/ballasts for my Infinity XR4 light fixture that controls the MH/T5 and moonlights. Some of the features included sunrise/sunset dimmable MH, moonlight control, longitude/latitude, cloudy days, intensity control, etc.

Elos prices may start you with a jaw drop but your have to remember it comes with everything you need. Tank, stand, sump, skimmer, ATO, pumps and all necessary plumbing. If you add it all up it's very comparable to buying it piece by piece. If you don't believe me ask the others that own Elos. On top of that the quality and crafsmanship is outstanding! Also Jesse is one of the best in the business!

No kidding, the Elos tanks look simply stunning and after being thoroughly annoyed with the center braces of Oceanic and the like, I think I might save my military pennies and buy one.

I was perusing through their site but didn't see prices, nor did I see where to buy them; although I did see a "cart" option. Are there select dealers?

I would love any further information.

i have been using 5 different "scenes" throughout the day (10 hour period)....it goes from sunrise (orange colors) to midmorning (blue less orange) to midday (full 10k no filters) back to the mid setting, then to sunset, and then on to an evening scene which looks like a 50K bulb (full blue filters)...neat.

the 3 LED's light the tank up perfectly for late night viewing...

It's Takashi Amano's Nature Aquarium Gallery in Japan. He is very well respected in the freshwater community because of his artwork tank creations.

"You can see over 20 layouts of real AMANO style at our NATURE AQUARIUM GALLERY. It is located in ADA head office in Niigata. We open the gallery every Saturday, Sunday and Japanese National Holiday for the aquarists in the world.

The NATURE AQUARIUM GALLERY was established in July 2003. A lot of aquarists have visited here including foreigner since then. Everyone is impressed the gallery very well and most of them come back again. Because Mr. Amano often changes layouts. Also you can enjoy Bonsai, pictures such landscape and underwater, Biotop and tropical rainforest goods from Brazil. You might be interested in Bonsai, because it is Japanese traditional tree and getting popular in the world."
