Its 48x30x20..the eurobrace is 55x30x20What size of tank? I say rimless if you can
Thats what I wanted at first.Rimless if you can

This is y its hard for me to decide..do you have a fts of your tank love to see it and thanx for ur replyrimless is nicer, you get to see the animals from the top easier too ...
BUT ... so hard to keep water from splashing out ! even when cleaning the glass ! eels and other jumper fish have also no chance ... I have seen my eels and jumping fish hit the euro brace and fall back in many times .... so based on all those, and the added stress on the seems, now I like euro brace much better.
see if you can get a nicer euro brace made out of one piece though, those look sweat !
Exactly y im considering the eurobraced its a nice dimension..what to do what to do..thanx ..would like to see a pic of your tank also.I prefer the looks of rimless, but as Allmost pointed out, it is a tradeoff. I like my euro braced tank, water does not slosh out, no fish have escaped and it makes a nice shelf on top of the tank for when you are doing maintenance. Given the dimensions you listed, I would go for the euro braced tank, those are sweet dimensions and a 48" fixture would look great on it.
Also to me thats y im in this dilemma. .rimless looks nicer to me.
Man thats a really nice looking tank and unique thank you for posting it. I will start a build thread once I decide so I will be posting picsIt's a tough decision. This is an older pic, I need to get off my butt and take some new pics, it has changed a lot since this was taken.

Rimless certainly has the cool factor but the euro brace is probably more practical. Whichever you go with, be sure and post up some pics.![]()

actually, when i ordered this tank from Miracles, I ordered rimless, and they sent me this ! I was very mad, and not satisfied, at the same time I had a rimless seahorse tank, and cleaning the glass without water splashing was a hassle ! so just went with this, and now Im prety happy to be honest ! the stand is prety tall, so I cant even see the top of the tank unless im on a step ladder or something !
plus with the mp60 and all the flow ... I see alot of water on the euro brace daily ! those would have splashed on the floor if I went rimless, or i would have had to turn the wave down !
one main Issue I have though, is that the tank, and the light fixture are both 24"wide [10 T5s] ! so about 3 of the bulbs are sitting above the euro brace, i am sure that lowers the intensity/efficiency, so get a light that would fit inside the tank, and not over the brace .
HTH,
Thats who im goin with is Leemar they will do it with half inch..hope it would be thick enough not to have any problemsfor 48x30x20, go rimless and do a BRS cover screen.
Might have a hard time finding someone to do 48x30x20 rimless on 1/2" glass for you.
I've seen some LeeMar rimless tanks with those dimensions on 1/2" glass.
here are some rimless threads for you to get ideas on what you might like.
