Here's an older shot of ours with center overflow...
Fish actually seem to love it, since they can swim around the tank and it breaks up the line of site better, but I'd imagine it would be hard to hide a center overflow in a nano (this is a 48"x48"x14")
I was going to do a center overflow until i realized how much aquascaping space it was going to eat up. So instead I went with a corner overflow for my walk-around tank. Which worked out especially well since the tank sits at a 45 degree angle in the room. The corner ends up being the "back" of the tank.
beautiful tanks!! It has been mentioned, but I think the hardest part of a center overflow on a nano is the very limited space for aquascape, this is easier accomplished on a larger tank.
