rinsing carbon

How much do you rinse out a bag of carbon before using? Do you rinse until the water is no longer black or do you only rinse for a few seconds to remove any dust from the bag?

rince what you need.. try and use rodi water until the black dust is gone...

Rinse the carbon until the water runs clear. Preferably RO/DI. Only rinse what you need.
