I am using an older rio 1700 for circulation in a tank that I'm cooking rock in. It is circa 2001, when they were still prone to problems, still oil lubricated I believe. If it were to crap out would it render the rock useless? Its the only spare I have atm. It has been used only 3 months steady and in 24 hour bursts for salt mixing since then.
