Rio Pump Question

I have the pro series sump that I have since I started the tank that has a built in skimmer using a rio pump. well I noticed that my rio isn't working as hard as it did and now its just trickling instead of blowing water into the skimmer. Does anyone know what to do to solve this? I cleaned everything inside out and it still trickles. Do I have to replace the entire thing or I have to replace something? I had the rio running for like 2 years.

also if it helps I have on a 75gal and the pump is a rio800.

Rio pumps have a history of causing problems or just simple failure. Some have been reported to cause fires. If you've already cleaned it well I don't know what else you might do except replace the impeller. I'm not sure if it's worth it. I've been using MagDrive pumps for some time now and I'm very satisfied with them.
