RIP- Eddy the juvi fimbriated eel

i just went into my room and saw my juvi fimbriated eel "eddy" on the floor. hes really crunchy and messed up. i threw him back in but hes not moving! please pray he makes it

I don't think they can come back from being in a state of "crunchy" RIP eddy

I guess, in a way, it solves the problem of 2 eels in one tank.. perhaps it is a good omen

they can live out of water for like 2 hours. i know i saw him in there at 11

Do you have anything on top of the tank to keep them in? Eels are notorious jumpers/escape artists and need tightly sealed lids of sorts to keep em in.
