Question regarding a ritteri. I know that any anemone is a constant battle to keep in good health but was wondering if there is an approximate amount of time in which a ritteri is considered to have a good chance of survival. I know in reading that a S. gigantea seems to have a decent survival rate if they make it a month. I know each animal is different but looking for experiences with those that have ritteris. thanks

Ritteris are funny creatures. Some hit the ground runnin and don't look back, where as others will limp along for months before getting over the stage where you feel like your monitoring a newborne child.

Thanks. The one I got looks healthy. It has eaten since day 1, hasn't moved or deflated mouth is closed but still doesn't look like it's tentacles are fully extended. It has only been 6 days so I know we've only just begun.
