RKL, Another question, Night Mode

The night mode is not working...I setup the pumps (ones on wavemaker mode) to turn off at night based on the limited instructions... I even set the night time brightness and it doesn't dim either.

What am I missing, maybe a firmware issue, maybe night mode not working for some reason... I'm lost on this one.

I think there is a setting for night mode on time and off time, check those first.
If it isn't running the latest firmware you should upgrade it. It may be just acting buggy, mine will sometimes not control things after editing an existing program. I remedied this by selecting a different pump type, then saving, then putting my correct info in and then saving again.
a power cycle of the PC4 may help too.
Hope this helps, I know it can be frustrating.

I appreciate the response...I have everything set properly I think, I'm just not getting any response from night mode on anything, even the head unit night brightness... I will cycle the PC4s and see if this does anything, then try to reset pumps, then try a firmware upgrade. I'm know there are benefits to the firmware, but I understand you have to go back to factory default and reset everything...hmmm, well, I guess I should organize the outlets better anyway, LOL.

Get THIS, for some reason, since I have programmed the wavemaker function, other channels than the pumps will turn off/on randomly, once the lights went out, just random...then this morning, my main pump shutdown for 10 secs (wavemaker setting)... Talk about loosing the warm fuzzy...at least it came back on, and before the skimmer went nuts. Fun stuff.

i had a lot of trouble setting my rk3 up too. they come with GREAT instructions.lol it is confusing at first but once it is setup it is worth the headache
