Irish- ok, what am I missing? I'm new to controllers and wanted to pick one up a simple one for my daughters Biocube, but aren't the ones listed for sale (besides the $600) one the same models you can get for $120 new?

I'm going Apex on my main tank. I've been keeping a close eye out.

I guess the only difference is the PH probe now that I look. I always see used item prices as a starting point.
