RLSS DB8i Skimmer

Hello all, I just received my DB8i skimmer as I wanted to try something different and unfortunately it got ruffed up and broken by UPS during shipping so another one will be shipped soon, I didn't really take a close look at it at the time but it isn't the same as the one in the pics on their website. The one on the website looks like

and the one that showed up looks like

I wouldn't have ordered it knowing that it would come like the second one....does anyone know what design it should be? even the vendor I bought from and all unboxing videos shows the design in the first link.... if the new one shows up and is the one I don't like what are my options?

I would contact RLSS and see what they say. Maybe updated design.

I have the i10 and love it.

Where did you order it from? I want to get one of the new ones. Sell me yours?

There're some posts in other threads on this, but RLSS supply has been very spotty. The only suppliers I know of in the US are Aquarium Specialty and Salty Supply and they are frequently out of stock.

CoralVue took over distribution of RLSS pumps and skimmers in the US in mid April, so hopefully availability will improve.
