I have a 4x2.5x2 (628l/165g tank and sump). It'll likely be around 500L/135g system minus rock, sand, equipment etc, and will be a mixed reef medium stocked tank.
I'm trying to decide which Rlss skimmer to get, the r6i or r8i. I want to get a skimmer that's not undersized but at the same time runs efficiently. The tank will be stocked slowly over a year or so.
Does anyone have any experience with these skimmers on a similar sized system and which model would you suggest?
Quite a bit of conflicting info on the tank ratings for these skimmers from suppliers and manufacturers.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
