RMS mounts

I have XR30s with the RMS mounts.
Was wondering if I decided to switch to XR15s, can I just purchase the bracket that fits the XR15 vs buying entirely new complete mounts again?

TIA

I would bet that all you have to do is buy the XR15 slide and use the RMS bracket you all ready have.

I base that on by looking in the multi light RMS section. It shows the different Radion slides, but only one type of RMS arms.

Pecan,

The arm and rails are the same for both XR15 and XR30 Radions. That said, if you plan on changing, you will need a new X-bracket. Please call us to purchase it directly.

Thanks Alex, ordered and received the XR15 brackets from JR already :)

One other Q if you can, I know your constantly bombarded with these type of Qs.

I currently have a CadLight 70 which measures 35"x23"x18".
I have been using my original Gen1 XR30s with standard lenses on RMS mounts. Since I never upgraded to Gen2 or Gen3, I felt it was a good time now since Gen4 has considerable advances.
My Q is do I go with two XR15 Pros or two XR30s?
The reason why I even considered going with XR15s was because I felt there was just a bit too much light spill out the sides of the the tank leading me to think two XR30s might be too much.
On the other hand, I don't want to end up with the XR15s to find out that I have to run them at 100% and still be slightly lacking in light and also if there is the shading syndrome with less pucks.
With that said, isn't LED longevity higher if they are not operated at max (less heat generated)?

TIA

Pecan, this was a similar concern for myself as well. I've got a Red Reefer 250 which is similar in dimension(35.5x20x21). I decided to go with 2 XR15s(gen 4) as I can position the lights, to get the desired coverage. For me, I believe 2 XR30s would have been more light than I need. Here is a picture running one XR15(Gen 3) wide angle lens, over a Standard 29g with the 20k setting @50%.

Thanks fishNcars!
With two XR15s, do you get the telltale triangular light path and do you see this in the upper column of the water?
