On the membrane housing(brs), there are three fittings. two on the one end and one on the other end. I cannot remember which is in, out and clean. A little help please?

The in is on the side with the single fitting. The good ro water exit is the fitting the is in the middle of the other side and the waste is the fitting that is offset on the double fitting side. Hope that makes sence
