has anyone had problems with there ro unit condensing water on the outside of the housing?

yeah it happens cool water and humidity=condensation

Yeah, up there in CT, the tap water can be nice and cool during the summer. So when you are running the RO/DI, as witfull says, it's like leaving a tall cool glass of water on the counter...
