It really depends on the guage and what you want it to measure. If you want to measure input pressure (to monitor sediment and carbon filters, T it in just before the line goes into the membrane housing.
Thanks Kim. What I did was drill the outside ro housing. Then tapped a 1/8 inch hole. The gauge installed and did not protrude past the inside of the housing. Then I installed another gauge at the input side of the sediment filter. This will give me the difference of pressure for the filters. Now I will have a warning if my filters fail earlier than expected.
