ro/di permeate pumps

i am using one,it does not make 4 x the water.i think it does provide pressure to keep the membrane cleaner.it may reduce waste though i never ran my rodi without so i have nothing to compare it to

If you do get one let us know the outcome. I'd be interested in getting one too if you think it makes significant difference in RODI performance.

Thanks,

yeah I had one , but sold it a year ago. they force the water through the membrane harder. unless you have GOOD QUALITY TFC / TFA, you will blow them out if they are clogged after time sooner than later. they DO indeed increase out put since you are getting more water through the membrane though, and the waste is less with increased pressure.

it is an "ecological" decission. If a RODI system comes with a pump for 300.00 or so, go for it !

Cool, sounds like it is worth a try. I'll time some buckets filling before hooking it up so I have a comparison.
