hey guys i bought a 4 stage ro/di from someone, cheap too, though the companey is a $%&^ my wife had ordered a part i need in order to use it and problem is they havent sent it and crap, anyways we contacted paypal and such and they have like 5 or so days left to either get us the part or the money back....its purewaterclub.com,they wont even answer their emails, anyway with how #$%^& their customer service is i wont buy anything from them again,my question is for replacement filters, can i just use anyones filters or what?

Yes you can use any 10" filters.

I just ordered my filters from Bulk Reef Supply Yesterday, Filters, DI canister and Resin with three day shipping was like 40 bucks. I got the more expensive shipping because I am impatient.

Pure water club generally gets high ratings. The holiday's may have them off their game. I have always gotten what I ordered from them pretty quickly. Any standard water filters will work fine.

one more question....as ya said that the filters would fit, would the replacement di fit on it also? seems to me as if it can, being that the tube size seems to all be the same

most DI units use a refillable resin chamber. See if your resin chamber has a removable lid, if so, just order new resin.

will do,also is it ok to use even though in the di chamber the water there in gunkie looking? sorry never used one of these before

ill give it a try but it looks like itll all just fall apart lol im thinking i need a new one and im not sure which size it is,hoping its a standard size

hey guys i notice that theres alot of pressure shooting back through the intake tube from my faucet to my rodi system,i was getting a leak in my faucet cauuse its putting so much pressure right back,i noticed it because i tried blowing into it and it came right back to me,is this normal and if so then my faucet isnt strong enough to send the water through the unit?

First, are you sure your hooked up to the right tube (easy thing to make a mistake on).

Yes, you may experience some back pressure...faucet adapters, especially plastic ones suck. I bought an honest to goodness metal on that made a huge difference. Water shooting back simply means your adapter doesn;t hold enough pressure before bending or does not seal well ont he threads.

Another point to look at is to ensure you have the washer in properly, both inside the faucet (you can usually use the one from the silt screen you removed), and on the hose coupler.

im using the same chamber that the person before me did,the unit is full of water, you can tell but as i said theres alot of pressure coming back through that tube

the problem was actually my faucet fitting in one bathroom, for some reason the rodi faucet adapter doesnt fit (too loose) on one faucet and fits perfect on the other...have no clue why that is and trying it out i noticed that i have one leak on the actual rodi unit it self......the fitting going into the 3rd stage leaks, not the fitting you can replace.....the one with the yellow arrow is the fitting you can replace.....the leak seems to be from the area with the red area, the piece that comes out of the end piece with the green arrow, which i think needs to be tightened a bit more because theres a few drops from there.....anyway,can that piece be replaced or maybe fixed with pvc sealent?

I got my RO from that same company. I also have the same exact leak. The guy takes weeks to get back to you and he is very hard to reach. I was very dissappointed with everything about that company except for the prices. Sorry to hear that this has happened to more people than just me.
