RO/DI question

Hey all,

I just hooked up my RO/DI and the water tastes kinda plastic like. is that normal for RO/DI, should I toss the first water and make more. is there a break in period on the filters?

I've never tasted mine immediately afterward, but run 10 gallons through to flush everything first.

Yes, definatly flush the water for 30 minutes or so. It should not have a funky taste after that.
