RO/DI question

So probably a dumb question but one I need to ask anyway

Is there a good local source for RO/DI water in the Rochester area ?

I'm kind of figuring at 10% weekly changes I'm only going to need 3 gallons a week and rather than buy a cheap system right away I'll save the pennies for a good one down the line. Picking a jug up from somewhere close(ish) would seem to make more sense to begin with.

They have 7 gallon water tubs for around 10$ at Walmart. They're blue and are specifically for water. I have two and get them filled at CF whenever I go. It costs $10.50 for 14 gallons (I think).

Several of the LFS sell RO water...I would say it would depend on where you're located.

I meant to say, depending on where you lived, would determine WHICH LFS to use lol. Before I got my unit, I got all of my water from ABC Pets in Fairport...it was a very fair price for sure.

buying water from a lfs is not a bad thing. imo water quality, and chemistry are core concepts in this hobby. one thing i did right was to buy a ro/unit ,and a refractometer in the begining.
