RO/DI unit questions

I bought an RO/DI unit off of Ebay, and I have a question. My closest faucet is in the bathroom. Would it be better to have a long line on the water going to the unit, or a long line going out of the unit? Thanks.

Six in one hand, half a dozen in the other... So long as you can maintain adequate pressure... If thats a problem, probably better off having longer waste/product lines... JMO...

I'm no physicist, but I think the pressure in the line should remain constant over any distance, should it not? The only thing to take into account really would be frictional loss, but unless you're running hundreds of feet of line it shouldn't be an issue.

I would say maybe 20 feet at most, also....could I run the waste water back there too? I have no sink or lines close, and want to be able to hide the unit in the closet, where I can fit 2 trash cans...one for saltwater and one for topoff water. I have REALLY good pressure, as I am first in line at the water tower. I guess I'm off to Lowe's next week after the Honeymoon to get some RO stuff! Thanks guys.

I used to have my RO unit hooked up with waste and output lines no less than 40 feet long without any issues, so I would say you're fine just about any way you do it.
