Ro/Di unit

im pretty sure this is the one he has as I looked at a pervious post. I was just wanting to know how it was holding up and if the water was testing near 0.

I think you get what you pay for! A good TFC membrane will cost that much.

Read this thread.

I would go with a Spectrapure 90gpd or a Filmtech 75gpd TFC membrane. The 100gpd have bad performance/ rejection rates.

I'v got parts if you want to build a good setup

That is the unit i have.

Greg I have not changed any filters or membrane in it and I tested around 4 or less about 4 weeks ago. I also don’t worry about the waist due to having it going into my washer so I use it to wash my dirty socks :D

Just get the right TFC membrane and flow restrictor. I'm not that smart at it but John at FAOIS has a good stock of Spectrapure parts and knows what to do to get the most out of them. I have been very happy with the setup I got from FAOIS.

When I got my most recent TFC membrane John knew what I needed and even cut the Flow restrictor to the right length for my setup, try get that from Ebay.

I have a 100 gpd generic RO/DI. It generates 2 gallons per hour with a 3 to one rejection rate. It's half it's rating but the rejection rate is so good I really don't care.

If you do your homework where you buy it shouldn't be an issue.
