RO/DI water cloudy??

Okay so I made about 40 gallons of ro/di water last night. I added salt and buffer to it and all seemed fine. I also added a powerehead and heater to allow it to mix over night. This morning I get up and it looks like milk. What the????? Why did this happen? Is the water okay to use? Will it clear up? Thanks Chris

did you test before adding buffer? how much and what buffer did you add?

I added Seachem reef buffer. 1 teaspoon. No I did not test the water before. I thought the ro/di process made water more acidic?

by adding the buffer, you may have spiked your pH enough to cause precipitation.
