another question on my new airwaterice typhoon III ro/di the unit is 75 gpd but is putting out way more water than it should any ideas why it filled a 32 gallon trash can in about 35 minutes

No - that's waste water you are collecting.

The DI output is marked "Product Pure Out"

For every gallon of product water RO unit produces, you are throwing away 4 gallon of waste water. That's how the RO membrane works.

hmmm...

that's still not quite right. My 75GPD unit only throwing away 15 gallon in half an hour.

Make sure the flushing valve is closed!

thanks dchao but im pretty sure ive got the lines correct and that is the water out to make sure of this i disconnected the drain and tried it and water is flowing through it just as fast and as i stated in a previous post tonight the tds is through the roof coming from pure water out and through the drain so i think there is a bigger problem just i am not sure what it is

Looks like there is no membrane in the RO canister. I am also very confused????

well guys got it all figured out finally there was no membrane in the filter yes yes i know i am a total idiot but when i found out the problem atleast i got a good laugh out of it so i figured i would share so you to could have a good laugh by the way 2 thumbs up to walter at airwaterice hes totally taking care of the problem sending a new membrane and a new di cartridge as i burnt the new one up
