Ro/di

Hi Jason,

I ordered a SpectraPure 60 RO/DI from you about a year and half ago and recently replaced the filters a couple of months. My question: I really want to set up my RO/DI so I can connect it to a water source in my laundry room and then run the tubing so it empties into my topoff container, which is located about 10 feet away in the next room.

The reason for this is I am really tired of having to fill up 5 gal. containers and then transporting the water to my top off container. It would save my back and time to do this. What do I need to do this and do you sell it?

Thanks for your help Jason.

Hi Mike,

If you don't need the water to shut off automatically, you would just need longer tubing, so just measure the distance and then order the tubing you need, it's only 20 cents a foot, you can pump upward too if you need to, keeping it level or lower seems to product more flow rate, but shouldn't effect it much.

If you need it to shut down automatically, you'll need the extra tubing and a SpectraPure or KentMarine AutoShut off kit which is a solenoid you install on the RO and a float valve that install in your holding bucket, tub, etc.

Thanks Jason!

I will probably want to have it shut down automatically. I will contact your sales people in the very near future to order the kit and the line.
