Ro/di

Yes. Its too hard to try and temper or blend hot and cold when you are only talking about flows of approx a quart a minute at best. Its very easy to damage an RO membrane with hot water. If water temp is an issue I think I would try the heater in a bucket method first or even a heat tape wrapped around a length of water line before risking a membrane.

My cold water is around 50 degrees, so I'm assuming the unit would produce much less than the indicated gpd. Would you recommend the 180gpd unit for this application?

Is there a way I can determine if my water contains chloramines online?

What town do you live in? I can look it up for you.
