Yes. Its too hard to try and temper or blend hot and cold when you are only talking about flows of approx a quart a minute at best. Its very easy to damage an RO membrane with hot water. If water temp is an issue I think I would try the heater in a bucket method first or even a heat tape wrapped around a length of water line before risking a membrane.
My cold water is around 50 degrees, so I'm assuming the unit would produce much less than the indicated gpd. Would you recommend the 180gpd unit for this application?
These graphs from Dow Filmtec should give you an idea od how temperature and pressure affect production rates. Spectrapure uses the 75 GPD membrane (which is rated at 75 GPD at 50 psi or 90 GPD at 60 psi).
