I' m looking for suggestions on the best RO/DI unit for my needs. I am about to start up a less than 30 gallon nano.. something along the lines of a nc24.

however, in a year or 2 i will be looking to upgrade to something in the 100+ gallon range...

how many gpd should i be looking at for an RO/DI? any suggestions on brands?

PS - i live in a small apartment and will need something that can screw in/out of my kitchen sink faucet...

thanks

You can get a faucet adapter so you can put your RO/DI in a kitchen or a bathroom.

I'd say 75gpd or less is the best way to go. I understand that when you exceed the 75gpd barrier, the filters are less efficient, so you only go that route if you absolutely need more water.

There are a couple of RO/DI companies in the sponsor forum, and Melev sells some as well. I have a Typhoon III from Air Water Ice that I bought a couple of years ago and I have liked it.

Check out "the filter guys" they are sponsors here and great CS and price, you will not be sorry, "buckeye" is an other one, if you go over 75 gal, the efficiency goes down.
