Anybody with a local take on what unit might work best given our water and usual temp?

FWIW... I had a pricey Kent maxima system my first time through this hobby. Now I have a nice 4stage RO/DI from the filter guys that I'm just as happy with. And the Filter Guys themselves are great people to deal with.

Mine is from the filter guys, great people to work with. They respond quickly to inquires and are very helpful. My unit does what is asked of it.

At the zoo we used the Melev 75 gpd unit (lower rejection rate than the 100gpd). Excellent price/excellent product. however we get the replacement filters from The filter Guys due to price and quality of their filter cartridges. You can't go wrong either way. Customer service as the Filter guys is top rate from everything I've read.
