RO Pressure Tank Question

I want to add a pressure tank to my current RO system so I can have water on demand but am not sure what kind to get.

My question is... is there a quality difference between different pressure tank manufacturers? Could I get one of the $35 ones off ebay or should I buy the $50 ones from SpectraPure? Is there really a difference?

Probably 90% of all the tanks sold are from Ametek. Does your system have an autoshutoff valve already? If not you will need one of those too. Most vendors sell add on drinking water kits complete with the tank, faucet, fittings and tubing for less than $74. Try contacting www.purelyh2o.com (mention RC as they are a sponsor) or www.airwaterice.com, both have add on kits.

might be a difference in the quality of membrane used don't know for sure. I would be inclined to think they are all pretty much the same. I would also check your local lowes or hd that would save you on some shipping $$

So it probably doesn't matter where I get it from? Yeah, I know I need a shutoff valve and check valve too.
