RO question

Ok, so maybe some of you remember I was having a major issue with my Mighty Mite unit and not being able to get a good TDS reading. Now, I'm not sure why it took me so long to notice this but I'm sure I'm about to get a lot of facepalms on this one. I didn't assume anything wasn't included because Air Water & Ice sold the whole thing as a package. I was trying to figure out why my filter seemingly works at only low PSI and not high like I'm always told and then I noticed I'm supposed to get 4 gallons of waste water to 1 of good. I then noticed the water coming out of the good line was basically the same as the waste line. I then took apart the unit again and unscrewed the cap on the big canister and noticed, wait for it: The thing is empty. I was perusing the AWI website and noticed a link to an RO filter that I assume is supposed to be inserted into the now empty canister to, you know, have an RO filter. Have I really been this dumb the entire time?

they work sooooooooooooooo much better with the membrane in the correct place .

I don't understand. Did they ship it to you without the RO membrane? Have you corrected it yet? What type of membrane did you or are you going to get? Just curious.

They shipped the unscrewable canister without anything in it. I have submitted a request to Air Water & Ice to ask about the problem. I think it will all be taken care of. It explains everything though lol.
