ro question

when i start up my ro/di for about a minute the tds of the output is 7 or 8 then goes back to 0-1, should i let this run off? or is it enough to mater? what do i do, put a t in the output and let it run off until it's 0 again and switch the t? does that make sense?

The reading your see in the beginning is TDS creep and not a big issue if you are making a fair amount of water. You can run an RO bypass for the first minute and eliminate it. If you are making very small amounts of water TDS creep can have a impact on your DI resin.

That little burst in the begining should not be an issue for you at that rate. My RO runs up to fifty then back to two and my full sized vertical DI cartridge has been in for a Year and is only half exhausted.
