RO System Question

Hey all...

I am going to be buying a new RO membrane (I think mine is about 2.5 years old). I was out on Air, Water & Ice, planning on buying a 100 GPD membrane (since when I bought my RO/DI system I bought a 100 GPD Aqua Safe system from ebay), but A,W&I does not recommend a 100 GPD membrane with DI systems (even though that is what I have now).

My question is, if I wanted to put a 75 GPD membrane in my system, can I? Is it worth it?

Yes - 75 gpd membranes can be interchanged with 100 gpd membranes. Whichever membrane you go with, use a matched flow restrictor. The flow restrictor is a small part that is inexpensive and will take you all of about 30 seconds to change out, if needed.
