RO unit BEFORE or AFTER water softener??

Getting ready to buy my first RO unit... Should I tap my water line before or after the water softener?

+2 after the softener will take alot of iron and hardness out of the water... so that you will use way less resin

I installed mine after the softener and have had no issues, flow is good and the TDS is 0
