RO unit going slow

I have a spectrapure 4 stage RO/DI that moves 40 GPD. The last few months it has really decreased in production. Now I'm getting maybe 5-10 gallons in a day. I've had it for about a year and it worked fine at first. I have changed filters once and I just ordered some more. It wasn't long after changing filters that it slowed down. I wonder if I got a different micron filter on accident. Would that make it slow down? I have a pressure gauge and I can see that it is about 5-10 psi less than it used to be (50-55, used to be 60 or so). I haven't changed the RO filter yet. Could that be it? Any other ideas?

The water being much colder has a big effect on RO production.

What Greg said, the cold weather will reduce your production rate, a drop in PSI means that one of your pre filters is getting old.

I put a booster pump on mine partly because I'm on a well and the production has more than doubled.

i would check to see if any of the filter are clogged

Is your pressure gauge located before or after the prefilters? If there is a valve on the feed line open it up until you are at about 70 psi going into the unit.
