All goldfish and guppies from here on out .......
i'll throw my 2 cents in here ...for what it's worth ..
I just got back from a trip to Mass. and I really have to say that , just the benifit of having any reef club for noobs like us (Candace and myself) is incredible. We need to be able to have contacts locally for info. trades and everything. On my trip in what little free time I had I searched for saltwater stores , hobbyists , and clubs and found absolutely nothing. So again just the benifits of having a network of experience for us to go to w/ all of our noob questions is incredible. I know if we didn't have the incredible people in NRVRC and RVRC to call when something strange happens for the first time or just ask a question , or look @ the different options that are available, we'd be lost ...So thats a Thanks to all the generous and knowledgable people in both clubs...I'm all for expanding the forumn and getting the group to grow. I know every chance I get to put this forumn out there to other people I meet I do it . Maybe combining forumns isn't such a bad idea . Every seperate group would have the same people @ the meeting , but maybe w/ combined forumns it would be a good way to get different members to go to different meetings. It absolutley couldn't hurt to look into it and make ourselves more accsessable to people new to the hobby... I know the most valuable thing we've found since being in this hobby is the info we've gathered from members like Ade , HOC , and ManderX ....these guys have experience and knowledge which is invaluable to people like us ... We need to give newer member who may fall outside the "local" lines a chance to gain from all of our failures and successes ....
