Hey guys. I been out of the reefing game for a few years now and finally decided to get back into it. I set up a 45G Rimless about 6 months ago after not having saltwater tanks for a few years. I had a bad crash and lost my entire 300G reef about 5 years ago and it hit me hard. Fast forward to now and i just couldnt resist getting back into a larger tank after learning a lot more about the hobby so i pulled the trigger and bought a 300G acrylic from a local guy here in Los Angeles. The tank is 80 long by 36 wide by 24 high exactly the dems i wanted for my next reef tank. I havent had a larger reef tank for a few years so i would love everyones input and advice along the way as i put everything together. Below ill post a few pictures of that tank as it sits now. Next week i have a guy coming out to buff and clean the whole tank of any scratches. I want to take my time and really do this right so if any of you have any suggestions on the equipment i should use, the plumbing, or just any tips i would love to hear what you have to say. Thanks for looking!

Nice pickup you have. IMO I would keep the WP60's unless you are unhappy with their flow. I run them now on my 500 gallon system and I have great flow.

Patience is the key so keep up the good work. You 45 looks beautiful.

Thank you! Yeah ill probably stick with them then and see how i like them. Im sure they will do the job just fine.

I know some of you guys have some pretty narly skimmers but to me this is the biggest ive ever had for a tank haha as big as my puppy and nearly the size of my 45G!
