Or you could put a standpipe in it and just use it as is...wouldn't need to plug the hole or do anything to it...that's what I'd do anyway.
As far as the ATO goes, in layman's terms, the premium one, can I plug my aqualifter in it after I set the height I want to run my floats on, and it will run? I'd much prefer an adjustable height bracket mount to suction cups, since I can envision a disaster happening with suction cups since I'll be dosing kalk through the ATO.

Might be interested in a skimmer but I'm not sure what would work for me. tank is about 20g and sump is about 5 gallons or so.
