Ok so went to my local beach and found this baby on a rock what is it ... Black spots on foot and moves..it's currently In the tank but can pullout if it's a pest
In the pic you zoom and see the black dots.. Today at the beach was very surprised to see them so close..my daughter spotted to real big ones that were in a rock but exposed..it really did look like a flower after splashing some water on it to see it better after more inspection I came across a baby one
It's most likely a Warty Sea Anemone (Bunodosoma cavernata). They can vary pretty greatly, but I am pretty sure that is an accurate ID.
Be glad it isn't a condy since recreational harvesting of them is illegal in FL.
Nothing illegal here close one though I guess..yes looks like a warty sea anemone for sure.
After further reading looks like I should probably pull it out..
Thanks for the id I was almost sure it was a rfa..
