rock anemones

I have a fairly new set up it is around 4 months old and doing well. I purchased 3 small rock anemones about 2 months ago and they are doing well. All were around 1 inch when purchased. Well one is now around 2 inches and the other two are catching up. My question is I can now find 6 of them. I have found 3 little ones on the rocks. They are around 1/3 of an inch. These are not Aiptasia. These look just like the larger rock anemones. How did I get these little guys???

The rock anemones may have split, but they may be tulip anemones as well. Tulips can be somewhat invasive, though in my opinion can be pretty as well. A picture would help.
